<Profile of chef> 

Chef Masa was born in here Matsumoto,Japan. He started his career at Hotel Seiyo Ginza as French chef.

He was attracted to simplicity,beauty and passion on the dish of Italian cooking while he was working at the hotel.

"ACQUA PAZZA",prominent fine dining restaurant in Tokyo,is his starting point to engage in Italian cuisine and he had the first experience worked as head chef.  

After nine years,Masa had a opportunity to work at Michelin star restaurant "Duomo" in Sicily,that experience and everyday life with friendly Sicilian people made basic concept for our "Cucina".

Masa also worked as head chef at one of "Partenope",popular Pizza restaurant certified as a member of "Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana" in Tokyo, and at "MARGHERITA RESORT HOTEL" ,highly regarded hotel at GOTO islands in Nagasaki,with the relation fine quality sea foods and Wagyu-beef "GOTO-GYU" can be supplied to us from the islands.

We puruse our cucina to be a oasis for tourists and for the locals to enjoy Sicilian cuisine.

・Pasta set  ¥1,500        

(assorted appetizer & today's pasta)                             

・3 plate set  ¥2,500

(assorted appetizer & today's pasta & main dish)  

*All set menu include homemade focaccia and coffee

 

DINNER

・"Panelle"  ¥500 

Deep fried chickpea flour 

・"Caponata"  ¥700

Stewed eggplant and vegetable with vinager flavored tomato sauce

・"Bucatini con sarde"  ¥1,700 

Bucatini with sauce of lightly sauteed sardine,fennel,raisin and pine nuts

・"Farsumagru"  ¥2,800

Roasted minced beef and pork roll stuffed with boiled eggs and provolone cheese

・"CousCous di pesce"  ¥2,800

Couscous with rich fish soup (fish,shells,squid..depends on the season)
